OYCP Top Cadet- Yesenia Reyes Sanchez

In Mid-December, thirteen Hillsboro High school students were among 139 students statewide to complete the Oregon National Guard Youth Challenge Program (OYCP). OYCP is Oregon’s only accredited statewide alternative high school. It is guided by structure, discipline, physical fitness, service to community and academic excellence in the classroom. Cadets can earn up to 10 credits, the GED or a High school diploma (depending on academic standing).  The program is a 22 week residential, military model with a 12 month Post residential phase, where they return to their communities to implement their goals and objectives. Hilhi student Yesenia Reyes Sanchez earned the highest honor of Overall outstanding cadet for the company.  Great job to her and to all graduating cadets. We all wish you much success when you return to your High schools!
