First Platoon’s Weekend

This weekend was very busy for first platoon! Friday they participated in the CPR class. A cool, but long day of learning about how to save people. Saturday, the service to community was very interesting, half the platoon got to go help out at a Shriners run for children. Guiding people for the day, having conversations with passing runners and helping to set up and clean up made for a rewarding experience. Sunday, was a really calm and chill day. We all got to be on personal business time working on work or writing letters to home or working on school to catch up for the week. The most exciting part of the weekend came later that day when the drill team was announced and cadets went to their first practice. Over all a really fun weekend and only 17 more days until break. We all miss you Mom and Dad but be ready for us in two weeks!
